Graduation Requirements

Every student must successfully complete a minimum of 24 credits to be eligible for graduation. Minimum requirements must include:

English — 4 credits, to include:
     English 1 – Grade 9
     English 2 – Grade 10
     English 3 – Grade 11
     English 4 – Grade 12

Social Studies – 3 credits, to include:
     History of Civilization – Grade 9
     U.S. History – Grade 10
     Government – Grade 12

Mathematics – 3 credits
     Math credits will also be given for
     Accounting as well as the course
     listed under the Math Department

Physical Education – 1 credit
     Physical Education – Grade 9

Health – 1 credit, Grades 10 or 11

Computer Literacy – 1 credit
     Computer Literacy
     Word Processing
     Technical Drawing & Design
     Desktop Publishing
     Telecommunications
Computer Electronics
Computer Programming
     Computer Graphics

Science – 2 credits, to include:
     Honors Physical Science or
          Science & Technology – Grade 9
Biology – Grade 10

Fine Arts – 1 credit
     The minimum of 1 credit must be earned
     in one of the following areas: Art, Music

Career Preparation – 1 credit

Capstone – 1 credit
     Starting with Graduation year 2018

Students are required to take a math class their freshman, sophomore, and junior years.
